My name is Brian Koge

I live on the Hilo Side of Hawai'i Island and I am originally from the Island of Oahu and move to Hilo in 1982. I enjoy the lifestyle and friendly people here.

Something about me

I retired from the Hawai'i Police Department at ending of 2019 after about 20 years of service as a Criminalist. I did mostly drug analysis and some digial forensics (mostly desktops and mobile devices).

I decided that I wanted to go back to school to learn something different now that I have more time to devote to studying. This would be the second time that I have returned to school after getting my BS in Medical Technology from The University of Hawai'i, at Manoa back in the 1980's. I also returned to school in 2000, first at University of Hawai'i, at Hilo (UHH) for Computer Science but decided that sitting in front of a computer programing was not what I wanted to learn, and transferred to Hawai'i Community College (HCC) and completed an A.A.S. in Electronics Technology, in 2006.
